I am a proud southern Californian who has returned to the land of entertainment after receiving my degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. My Bachelor's Degree in Communication (mass media) and minor in business are just the starting tools I've used to forge my own path in media and entertainment.
I currently reside in Los Angeles where I head Public Relations for Millennium Age Consulting -- a boutique consulting service for independent hip hop and R&B musicians. Over the past 2 years, we've seen great success in branding and promoting artists and their music. Millennium Age now stands as an established event curation team in Los Angeles and Chicago, bringing cultural and musical experiences to millennials and niche markets. This position has allowed me to polish my skills in public relations, digital/email marketing, event production, creative branding and multimedia content creation and promotion.
My passion for the music business doesn't end there, as I often fill my free time consulting with artists or assisting larger brands and creatives, like John Monopoly Presents and YesJulz Agency.
I also work as a freelance television production assistant throughout the Los Angeles area. My most notable work thus far has been working as a PA on a game show with 51 Minds Entertainment (in development), and on the Justin McCullough Comedy Special. My TV experience dates back to my days at the University of Missouri and NBC affiliate KOMU, where I worked as a news producer and part-time anchor. I also have prior field utility experience with ESPN.
My goal is to fuse both my media passions -- music and television -- into one enjoyable, sustainable career.
